What Can You Expect From Me?Please feel free to e-mail me or call me if you are interested in a harp for your event. After we speak on the phone, or exchange e-mails, I will send you a contract to sign with specifics about our agreement. That way, there will be a clear record of the number of hours to be played, the fee, and other details. I play background music by the hour; each hour consists of fifty minutes of music and a ten-minute break. A wedding ceremony, or any other "foreground" music, consists of specific pieces of music chosen in consultation with you, for a fixed fee. You can expect that I will be at the event in advance, ready to start on time, and that I will provide continuous music for each fifty-minute set. What Will I Need From You?I can only accept jobs which are within Los Angeles or Orange County. I will need you to be specific about the location (including directions), style of the event (including formality of dress), and time (starting and ending). I will need to be able to set up in the building at least thirty minutes before I begin to play, so that the harp can be fully tuned. I will also need a space to play which is large enough for myself, the harp, and a music stand (at least four feet square); sheltered from the environment or other hazards (including the buffet table!); and relatively well-lit.
